As you have learned Loyalty points schemes are incorporated into pricing policies. So if you are flying with a major airline or staying with a major hotel chain sign-up to their loyalty programmes so that you can collect the points that you are paying for!

In order to maximise the points of your favoured loyalty programme you can also earn points as part of your everyday spending by signing up for an appropriate credit card and earning that additional points (that you can covert to flights or hotel stays!) in order to reach your goal easily.
